Aw crap, sorry about the OZ spoilings ... trust me, still good even if you know who dies. And I didn't even mention half the people who die. Ugh, such a great show! Thank you so much for taking the time to read the reasons, I realized when I posted and actually looked at the entry I had said a whole lot :)

I totally suggest giving Torchwood a try (that's a show I knew all the deaths before watching and it was still really freakin' good), but I totally understand having too much other TV to watch. I go through periods where there's nothing on Network TV that I want to watch so I end up getting caught up on all the shows I've missed.

Again, thanks so much for the comment!!!!

Seriously! I love a good tearjerker and I didn't even put in the two times Buffy died (points to icon: that "I quit" scene gets me EVERY time). Thank you for the comment and looking at/reading the picspam :)

This is a brilliant picspam. I think what I like the most about it is your commentary, because in a way it feels like we're Buffy soulmates, heh. I totally agree with you about Cordelia and Anya. They weren't what I'd call my "favourite" characters, but somehow their deaths were emotionally resonating with me long after some of the other character deaths on the show. Weird, right? Anyway, I was SO pleased that you mentioned them. Fred I can live without (I felt sort of cheated that she got to be Illyria, after all).

I also loved your Torchwood ones. I could barely focus on the end of Season 2 because of Tosh's death. It took me totally by surprise and I'm not entirely sure I've forgiven RTD yet, heh.

The pictures are beautiful - did you add a colour treatment to them or something because they're visually stunning.

Thank you so much for this; I love it!

I can't even tell you how happy I am that people are actually reading (and liking) what I had to say for each show/death. I've been trying like crazy to get the picspam done in time for the picspammy deadline and I'm just so happy what I said makes sense. I tend to get off topic easily and blabber on about nothing in particular (especially at 1AM when I wrote this whole thing ( ... )

What always got me was her speech in "The Body" where Anya truly understood what it was like to lose someone you care about, and her speech in S7 where she talks about how silly humans are, and yet there she was protecting them anyway. Sigh. Oh, Anya.

This picspam is absolutely amazing. To be fair, most Buffy/ Angel deaths broke my heart, as did Ianto's, but here you have, for me, three of the most heartwrenching deaths OF ALL TIME - Doyle, Tosh and Owen. Oh, man. I've never cried so much at TV as I did with these three. For me, what was so great about Tosh and Owen was that although she was obviously terrified, Tosh never told Owen that she was dying because he obviously had enough to worry about. God, I love her so much.
You've done such an excellent job here, I love your commentary!

DOYLE! That was such a good death (does saying that make me a bad person?) ... he saved his people, he showed Cordy who he really was, he kissed her goodbye. So good. I always wanted them to somehow bring the character back, but obviously that could never happen. Tosh and Owen break my heart every time. I totally agree about Tosh not telling Owen she was dying, so freakin' brave and strong of her. I loved that they drew strength from each other. Thank you so much for the comment, I'm very happy you liked the commentary :)
