These are all really fantastic! I love the logic behind Juliet confiding in Sayid first, love the irony of the Oasis song, Sawyer and Jack is just sooooo sweet - but with that angst that will always hang off those two, Jin's quiet acceptance, and my favourite - Locke and Boone.

Thank you so much *blushes*! Glad I balanced the sweet and the angst with the Jack and Sawyer one and extremely glad we share the same favorite one, if I could change one single thing in canon it'd probably be that one scene *is still mourning* I'm really happy you liked this.

Thank you so much, I'm really happy you liked it! When I read it the first thing that came to mind was Locke lying about the plane thing (knowing me..), then I decided to expand it and I'm glad to hear it came out fine ;) thanks again for reading!

I really liked the contrast between the first and last one. In some ways Locke and Desmond were put in similar dilemmas. I also liked Locke looking in Boone's eyes, a nice call back to him looking into the island's "eye". I think my favourite part was Jin's reaction because it shows how much he has grown and how aware he is about the island giving them a second chance in so many ways. A strong use of the prompt and a great title!

Thank you so much! Glad you liked the island's eye reference, it seemed kind of fitting since here he doesn't fulfill said island's wishes and it'd have been a much wiser choice, but alas. The Jin/Sun part is one I'm quite satisfied with, if only because it was the first time I tried with either of them and I wanted to underline the fact that he's one of the people there who changed most (and who I've come to really like with the progressing). And nice that you liked the title! For once I didn't steal from Springsteen ;)

OMG! Loved this piece.

Horay for the Boonelives! Not only did you save your boy but it was a beautifully redeeming moment for Locke where he chooses Boone's lovely blue eyes over the eye of the island. The Sayid/Juliet one was really interesting. Of course, the Des/Charlie bit...

Desmond can’t do this. Sooner or later fate will get the both of them, he may not bear the immediate consequences, but Charlie will and he can’t bear failing anyone else. He lost track of everything and everyone he failed until now, too many. He doesn’t want Charlie to be another number on his failed list.

*sob* Are you trying to destroy me? No honestly it was gorgeous to see Charlie trying to boost Desmond's spirits in the hopelessness of it all. Siiiighhh...

Thank you so much!

Boonelives WINS! I'm not as frustrated with Locke as I am with whoever decided he had to bite in the first place but I always had this ideal scenario in which Locke understands that those lovely blue eyes are much more beautiful that the island's can ever be.

Glad you liked the Sayid/Juliet, it was an interesting one to plot, if only because I'd love them to have some more decent interaction.

Of course I'm most happy that you liked the Des/Charlie one, I trust your judgment on that ;) and well, if it cheers some, I've got one which goes AU for that damn finale for the philosophy thing almost ready to go. I've been editing the thing for some time and I still have to finish some stuff on it, but I'll have it after the riffs are over for sure. I think I'm past caring about canon, really.

Sure I did! About the Chesmond I'm planning on at least one more (but set before the finale) which is going to actually be Chesmond. This other I have almost finished is more one of an endless rambling starting from when Des meets Penny and ending in the Looking Glass (though Charlie shows up in two sections), where I went and happily screwed canon and fate together. Though the way I gave Desmond the push to do the things he did in the finale just a little bit faster is, uhm, let's say peculiar enough but anyway, canon was screwed, they win and it's enough *curses canon*. Though I don't exclude to have more of it because well, I've got another fourteen or so to write ;)

I love love love this! I especially like Juliet's confession to Sayid and her reasoning for it. That is perfectly Juliet.
