1. So, I had actually watched that ep when it leaked, then I figured I'd wait for the actual airing moment to review it and then it was Easter and I didn't, but since I have ~feelings~ about it and tonight's episode will give me EVEN MORE (everyone who read the books and saw the preview knows why) I'll just go over the main things here.

I want them to run off to the Free Cities and get married and live happily ever after. Because their love is WRIT IN THE STARS.Methinks this should be a kink meme prompt. ;) Or at least THAT IT SHOULD EXIST BECAUSE SERIOUSLY those bits were so perfect I couldn't even ( ... )

... you know, that would be so freaking awesome. SO. FREAKING. AWESOME. His past would make a hell of an interesting story, that's for sure... and well yeah the Watch can't be as impartial as they say. With Arya I had gathered that it had been Ned more or less telling him to do it while they were bringing him to get judged and I'm pretty sure he was on board because of all the reasons you said but I'm pretty sure he knew perfectly about Gendry, too. And if he hadn't he'd had known when the City Watch came searching for him.
Weeell Robb is totally another possible fandom bycicle -nodnod- I tend to ship Jon with more people but Robb totally lends himself to it as well. Though well, saying that Jon is the little black dress of shipping in this fandom has a certain appeal. ;) ;)
ROBB COULD MAYBE CHOKE THEON AGAINST THE WALL, AND IT WOULD BE GLORIOUS, BECAUSE THEON WOULD LOVE IT.THIS TOTALLY AND UTTERLY IS RELEVANT TO ( ... )

I was asking recently on my journal - do you have any good recs for fics about Theon's backstory? Since this has only been referred to in exposition dialogue it's taken me a while to make sense of his history. I'd love to see some of it written in fic form! Have you read (or written) anything about Theon being taken from the Iron Islands after the rebellion and how he adjusted to life among the Stark family (Robb/Theon is welcome!).

uh, yeah... wtf were they calling her? why? did i miss something?
I think that conversation between Davos and his son was in the book... I clearly remember him saying something about "I made it home and I never prayed" and the son saying "No, but I did."
And yes, you're the only one who was not surprised by that. I dunno why. In the book, Stannis was like... stone, to me. Or something. He didn't *do* things. With people! (Also... have they completely written out his afflicted daughter?)
ARYA/GENDRY (when she grows up) YES. Their scenes were pretty much awesome.
Imma go watch the new ep now ;)

Mmmh I'll need to go check that part, because I'm sure that the one about all evil in the world being gods and gods never being on battlefields had been a quote of Stannis'. This deserves more attention.
... well, yeah, but in order to win the war he -had- to give Mel her shadow babies so I figured he was doing it with her as some kind of duty. Lol idk I obviously have a dirty mind. (They mentioned the wife so maybe she's off-screen?)
I KNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW MARRY YOU TWO.
Me too ;)

Maybe it was a mash of 2 different conversations. I also remember Davos keeping with the 7 gods, even if he didn't consider himself religious. He at least fought to let others keep whatever gods they wanted.
ALSO. I love the actress they got to play Brienne. She is PERFECT.
