No, make that any minute, Danny thinks, as he catches Steve watching him again. This time it’s after hours in their deserted office, and for once Steve doesn’t pretend. Instead he keeps looking, until it’s Danny who’s blushing, too hot and that itch between his shoulder blades making him fidget in his seat. He doesn’t look away either, because he’s not the kind of guy who backs down from a challenge and he’s not the kind of guy to run away from something just because it scares him more than he’s willing to admit and he’s definitely not the kind of guy will ignore something when it’s sucking up all the air in the room

Omg this is delicious!! :DD I love it so much omg. Your Danny POV is kind of seriously amazing, it so sounds like him. I totally loved how he notices Steve noticing him and all of his little remarks about how his job doesn't lack in adrenaline and Steve not doing paperwork and being worried about his mental state whether he does paperwork or not - that's soo the married couple they are, lol. And that ending was pretty much the sweetest thing ever and I want to smish them and this fic was absolutely amazing, thanks so much for writing it!! :DDDD <3333

GOD THE DYNAMIC. IT WAS SO PERFECT. I liked that their roles weren't exactly settled all the way because it totally makes sense with the fact that in my head they'd be good at both topping and bottoming, and NN CAS'S REASONING IS JUST SO SOUND. I loved him sweet-talking lotion away from Chuck and reminiscing about Dean but totally giving it up to Jack omg. And it was hot. And I like that both of them are totally there for what they're doing. AND CAS SWITCHING IT IN THE END - UGH BRAIN HAD A SHORT CIRCUIT FROM THE HOT. And the perfection of that. And those last two sentences - UNF YES FOREVER. And THAT PIANO METAPHOR = UM YES THIS.
