Or, well, not really. This poll also has an hidden purpose, but that's not the main point right now. The main point is that I realized I want to finish my AU bingo card, even if the FSM knows when I'll find time to write shit that isn't exchanges or my thesis or whatever (or writing one which won't be on the poll because I'm attempting to do it now ( Read more... )

Actually I was planning on dressing one of them like this. It kind of is a trenchcoat. XD (in the western one of course. Pity that apart from the clothing I kinda don't have an idea of the plot. Or well, okay, I have one but I need to think about it a lot more than most of the other ones listed.) XD

Pity I don't follow SPN, really. But I voted anyway cos hooker fic is always good.

Now, I do believe either your e-mail and my e-mail are not speaking, or else the world really doesn't want me to see your graphics. I don't want to believe the third choice, which is that you haven't e-mailed me at all... so I'm not going there. Perhaps you could just pm me to say whether there is anything for me to be hoping for, or otherwise, I'm trying something different by way of another e-mail address.

Auuugh, you do have another one? That's good because that other one apparently doesn't work. (or it might be mine, since something like that is going on with my thesis supervisor and it took us four different addresses to get a mail through. Whatever.)

Anyway, I'll use that other one and send stuff your way asap, if I don't before three/four days it's because with the extra exam I'm doing I am not looking at e-mails other than LJ notifications. *sigh* But I'm giving that on Friday so if I can't manage before then I'll just send you a mail at both those addresses on Sat. and let's see if we can manage it. *kicks the net* <3

Hi love - sorry to bug you again, but I still haven't received any e-mail from you, so not sure if you've just been too busy this weekend or if it hasn't come through. Could you try again if you have sent it, or maybe you could just do a private LJ post just for me with any graphics you've managed to do? I'm sorry, but I'm kinda getting to the point of thinking I should just give up... so can you let me know? Am I the only one that voted for Regency?
Could it be because I used to be addicted to historical romance?

I just read an SGA fic set in regency too, and I loved it. The balls, the society, the gossip and the DANGER OF BEING FOUND OUT.
IDK, secret love is sexy.

Plus there would be the added bonus of them each trying to figure out if the they mean what they think they mean [lol, bad sentence is BAD].

I wouldn't say I know anything official about regency, but I would be willing to take a look at your idea. Er, all I have for credentials is I've read a metric ton of historical romance.

Fear not, Regency WILL get written because I kinda never managed to write a fic where I could put together a bunch of romance clichés and the plot I have for this one is kind of my secret dream, AND IT GIVES ME A CHANCE TO HAVE THEM MAKING OUT WHILE WATCHING OPERA. Yes, that's where my brain goes. Anyway YES IT WOULD HAVE BALLS, SOCIETY, GOSSIP AND DANGER AND DRAMA and I want to write it.

And oh, I totally got that sentence. It'd totally sum up the entire first third of the whole thing.

And there's most definitely more than my credentials, because the most I've read of historical romance was Wuthering Heights and that's not what I'm going for here so it'd be awesome if you could have a look at it? Would you rather do it by mail or I can just PM you? Your preferences are my preferences. ;)

Yaaay, awesome! Atm I just have the plot and no writing, but I just wanted to be sure it was historically doable before starting so I'll just send you an e-mail with the most of the premise and some of the rest. Also because I think that if the premise is doable then the rest should be too but whatever, I'll save it for the actual mail. *goes*

just so you know, it was really hard to choose between these ideas, cause i wanna read all of them!!! But i've been dreaming of a band au for ages, so... anyway i'm sure whatever you end up writing will be awsome :)
And about Post-Apocalypse 2, i think Dean and Larry Underwood would hit it off famously, but maybe that's just coz i love them both so much...

And EHEHHEHE I KINDA WANTED TO GO THERE AND MAKE THEM MEET. They'd hit off almost as well as Dean and Eddie would. WELL WHAT A SURPRISE Larry is actually my second-favorite King character ever. I think I choose them with PATTERNS.

oh yes he so is. I was so head over heels about him the first time I read The Stand. Then I re-read it a bunch of times and every time I was like 'Christ CAN I MARRY YOU'. And HAHAHAHAHAH YES BABY CAN YOU DIG YOUR MAN IS SO DEAN'S SONG! XDDDDD

But hooker fic yeaaaah, that iiissss happening. As soon as I finish this other one I started for the sports square which is like insane but it has been eating my head as much as the hooker fic, except that it's the one with the least chances to get over 10000 words so I'm tackling that first. And western is happening as soon as I have a better plot than 'smish all the Eastwood Leone movies together'. Or we,, if I don't have a better one by the time I get to it, that's happening anyway. XD
