Official: Bruce Springsteen and the ESB are in concert in Rome, Olympic Stadium, July 19th. Which will be exactly when my summer term is over

edit: for fun I checked how much it would cost to fly to Rome around the 19th. And it's not too bad! Well, quite a lot for a concert but I would make it a vaction in Rome of course.
You need to TRY to get tickets in advance baby! Out of curiosity, how many people does the Olympic Stadium take?
I'm taking two tickets anyway just to be sure and I'm sure I'll find them. People in Milan didn't have a problem when it was there in the big stadium and since the Olympic is HUGE I'm not too worried. Mh, ha, nice question. I can safely tell you it's one of the biggest here in Italy, I think it takes at least 60000 people. Or something.
You sure get the package deal visit of course if you do the crazy thing. ;)
that's awsome! Where do you want to be btw? I am a really short person so the floor scares me.
Talked to your parents?
I talked to mine just to see what they thought about the whole thing, and mom brought up the thing about Rome being kinda of icky in the hight of summer, which I can totally imagne. What's your view on that? Do you flee the city? *laugh*
I would love to stay a couple of days and like, see the touristy stuff, the non touristy stuff... hang out you know. It would be so cool!
I'm asking them as soon as I hopefully pass this year's first exam in two weeks. ;) better have them on the good side. ;)
Rome is icky in the summer. If we have to be there we endure it, if we don't we flee. ;) But it depends, it's in August that it really gets unbearable. It's not like July is much better but you can survive the heat. I'd totally love the hanging out indeed! ♥
Re the tickets, I'll see where they say you can hear better. The floor's problem here is mainly... well, it's kind of a trial of force of will, you need to stay in line at least from the night before in order to get the first five rows and I can assure you that doing it on July 19th is NOT easy. ;) I'll see where are the best seats, maybe I'd try from some seat which is also not on the other side of the stage.
Awesome! Some of my favorite artists decide to skip Seattle even when they're in the area, boo. Or otherwise they are here when I'm out of town, haha. So I'm happy for you! :)
Ha, it's actually always the same here. Well, Bruce DOES come to Rome but he hadn't been here with the ESB since... meh, 1988 I think. So I caught him solo once before but to see the ESB I had to go to Milan. And a lot of other people skip here unfortunately so I totally get that. :/ Thanks! I'm rejoicing. ;)
Thanks! I'm sure I will, it's huge and for once I'm not too worried. ;)
If he's coming to Europe he'll come to America too, no question. They still didn't give any American dates that I'm aware of but since they're announcing the tour now I think they will shortly.
