I stopped reading right were you wrote about minor spoilers for book one. I'm so intrigued! I love when writers take old myths and throw in their own twist. It makes the paranormal creatures we've fallen in love with--and those those we love to hate--so much more likable. The gods know that I shouldn't add anything else to my to be read pile, but what the heck! What's one more book... or two... hehehe

Yeah these vampires have OCD - something to do maybe with their being "stuck" in the time they died and became vampires, and needing control over *something*. It's a really interesting idea and pops up a lot when dealing with the DJs. There's a couple of other instances of thoughtful world-building I've noticed here.

Sigh. I really loved this one. I love Ciara and Shane and, as you say, the writing is so clean and flows so well. Can't wait for the next one.

Why do I have the feeling I may have to do a part 2 assume the position post?
