I remember reading this Napier book a few years ago and being totally put off by it for a variety of reasons, including the one-sided father/son competition. It's a good thing it wasn't the first napier book I'd ever read, or I probably wouldn't have tried her other books.

If this was the first one I read I wouldn't read her again. But I really liked the other one - much stroner heroine and while the hero was arrogant, he wasn't a big JERK in my opinion
