I really dislike physical attraction as the entire basis for a relationship. Sure it might spark something, but these people need a reason to be together beyond hormones, even supernaturally strong ones. I didn't think about it in those terms, but you're absolutely right that the best stories were the ones that didn't waste their few pages developing an unbelievable relationship.

I was surprised that this is even considered the same series as the other "Hell" anthologies, it skews much more heavily towards romance than urban fantasy.

And thanks for the link, but my blog isn't Urban Fantasy Land. Though maybe I do need a less generic title. :)
