This is one of those YA's that has tempted me, but I haven't picked it up yet. I may wait to hear your review of the sequel first!

I thought the writing was a lot better than some of the YA paranormals I've read, so I get why this series is well liked.

I'm hearing from one person that the love triangle is more the focus in the second book, but I'm still going to try and read it to see if I agree.

I've been really, really judicious when it comes to picking up YAs. With the exception of John Green's The Fault in Our Stars, I haven't picked up any that weren't sequels to stuff I've already read and loved, you know?

So I'm super-suspicious of YA paranormals. :)

I hear you. Then this one I am not sure I would push you towards because of the love triangle. That doesn't work for all readers.
