Book Sale Haul

I don't usually do posts about books received in a week, but since I scored very nicely this weekend at a library book sale, I thought I'd show my spoils. Greenburgh Library hosted an annual book sale with paperbacks for 50 cents, trade paperbacks for $1, and hardcovers for $2.

Heh, I was like "oh nooooo, I'm gonna get in trouble with this BookSaleFinder" but apparently they think Arizona and Florida are both in the Canadian prairies. Heh.

That is so weird. They don't even count as U.S. prairie states.. right? Strange.

Never fear, booksalefinder updates at least once a week! Hohohohoho.

Oh, I realized what it is. All the "BIG Sale"'s show up on every page of the website. I see the AZ and FL sales on my NY page too. You have to ignore those (advertised maybe?) and look for your own area. Wish the website was better designed. I also ignore all those banner ads every time.

Wow, what a great haul! I also loved To Say Nothing of the Dog, so I hope you enjoy it too! In case you didn't know, Mercy Blade is the third book in the Jane Yellowrock series. I wasn't a big fan of the first book, Skinwalker, but hopefully your mileage will vary!

Third book! AHHH. Yeah no indication of book order on the book, so I didn't know that. Sigh!

I hope I like To Say Nothing Of the Dog too. Sounds like I will.

OOooh nice stack of books there. I'm a little jealous.

And thank you for pointing out BookSaleFinder. I'm going to have to check that out :)

:) It was a good sale!

Oh I hope you find a good sale near you with the BookSaleFinder website. I'd say once or twice a year I'll find a good sale near me. Useful because I never remember WHEN my library's annual sales are.

Looks like a great haul! I've always heard good things about A Certain Slant of Light. One of these days, maybe I'll get around to it!

I was surprised to find that one for sale - that and a couple of the newer YAs. I suspect I got lucky because they were misshelved in fiction, not in the YA area. Anyway, good sale. I will have to come back.
