If you'd be willing to ship to Denmark, I'd like to read it. Otherwise, I completely understand - international shipping isn't exactly cheap ;)

Hmm, Denmark. :) Don't worry, I have sent things all over. I don't mind at all! If you email (janicu[at]gmail[dot]com) or just message over your address, I'll try to send the book this week.

Forgot to ask, is this a migrating book, so I should pass it on to somebody else once I'm done with it? I assumed that was the case, but realized I had never actually gotten around to asking you!

Oh, love the bookmark you sent with it :D THAT I'm definitely keeping :)

Hi there. Well, it would be nice to keep passing it along, but I sent it along with no expectations. It is for you to do as you will. :)

Yes, that is a nice cover on the second! But I won't be continuing.

I did like Kimber though, and I really, really wanted to try a hot posset!

But I would like you to expand on the following:

Lastly, Dana's dad said that Dana's mom didn't drink any more or less than anyone else and she must have become alcoholic after she left Avalon. I don't think this is something where someone can be "normal", then after some traumatic event become alcoholic. I think it's always there.

So you don't think that someone wouldn't find themselves starting to drink more and more due to stresses and/or trauma and then finally become an alcoholic? I really don't get what you mean about it's always there. I know there's the nature versus nurture debate in regards to alcoholism (do you drink because you've got the genes for it and your dad was an alcoholic and therefore you will be to OR is it because you've seen that's how others handle their problems with alcohol and it looks like a good solution?), but I'm not sure I'm reading you right. :)

I don't have a problem with predisposition, and while I don't have real-life experiences to point to, I've always heard of situation where someone has a drink to take the edge off, and they have more, and then more, and suddenly they're an alcoholic because they simply can't GO without a drink.

I suppose too there's a difference between people who binge drink and people who simply HAVE to drink because it's a habit they've gotten into that they can't kick. Of course, I too could be talking about my ass, but it's something to consider.
