I had a cultural experience on Saturday night.

I watched my first UFC fight, and it was magic.

The setting: a suburban "sports bar" in a strip mall.

The cast: a new species of land-based mammal the likes of which your intrepid author has never seen. Less upmarket than the NALBM; not as pink around the neck as many of the big truck drivin',

I know right? Once time I was ion the elliptical at the gym and two guys started 'sparring' on the mats right in front of me. Before hand I was all "meh - quasi ugly dudes" then when they were rolling around on the floor groping each other I was all "I need to get home for a quickie"
