I love the fact that despite Children of Earth being some damn fine television, to everyone that has watched the first two seasons, it will always be "Crappy Ass Torchwood". I think that's great. The show will never live that down

Well, that first series still has a lot to answer for, even if it's been more or less removed from continuity. This is, after all, the show about which I said "[It] makes me wonder exactly how much I hate myself that I keep watching" so Rusty could produce the ten finest episodes of television ever aired and I'd still refer to it as "Torchwood. You know, that show that did an episode about a Cyberlady in a metal bikini in the basement."
Also, I am really not liking Phifer's character at all. Ignoring the drug-guzzling ham-sequence of bloody doom, I find it very telling that we're introduced to him as he is driving like a douchebag in dangerous conditions while on the phone telling a coworker how great it is that this other dude's wife has cancer.One of the things that I found most frustrating about

I kinda tend to block out a lot of season 1. And a good chunk of season 2.
