THE YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL MEME
my thread

[Castle reactions] Okay, so I'm late to the party and haven't watched everything (or even a certain scene) over again but it's 4 days later and I'm still fighting the urge to grin like an idiot. No, seriously, my first reaction was, and I quote, "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERead more... )

meme, tv

I didn't like the Damon/Elena flashback because he was SO out of character. And what kind of excuse is "I met him first so I'll be with him"? That says nothing about love.
I hope Klaus doesn't have sex while in Tyler's body because then I won't be able to ship them anymore :(

I chalked it up to him being under some sort of influence or sated and that's why he didn't have a midnight snack of Elena.

I wouldn't be surprised if they went there, the show is continually bringing up consent. I must admit I do not understand Klaus/Caroline so that's not a concern, but the whole idea squicks me out. Let's hope the writers can handle it well.

I think that flashback is going to end up being a scene I ignore as being canon just because Damon behaved differently than how early s1 Damon behaved. I expected there to be more snark.

I hope the writers handle it well. I like Klaus/Caroline because they're unexpected. So if they have him take advantage of her, I won't be able to forgive the writers for that blunder.

lol, I'll probably forget about it until it gets brought up again. I still think Damon looked a bit out of it and that's why he wasn't himself. It helps that Elena looks exactly like Katharine and he really wasn't expecting that at the time.

No, that would be a horrible way to go. I'm having a hard time figuring out how they can resolve this situation satisfactorily.

Am I the only one who had a problem with Beckett quitting her job? Though I enjoyed the end scene tremendously, her quitting kind of put a damper on it for me. I get that it was part of her 'moving on' but idk it bugs me the wrong way. And it'll bother me more if it's just a temporary thing, so I'm really torn about the finale. Like I said, I liked the end scene and I liked her choosing him, but it was clouded for me because of the scene with Gates.

Also, I totes noticed the fire escape. I was kind of yelling at her in my head to swing to the side. LOL.

You're probably not the only one, but I don't have a problem with it. I just chalked it up to all of the stressful events that have been happening over the time period of the episode.

The fire escape looked like it was directly beneath her and I wondered if that itself was a goof. I should watch the episode again, get some more feelings out.

I suppose. I don't know. She's been in similarly stressful situations before - getting shot - and she didn't quit then. I think I just had a problem with them getting together after she gave up her career. Or that's how it seems to me, at least. And I really don't like that I'm seeing it that way because I trust Marlowe to do everything right. We'll see how I feel when it comes back, ha!

I didn't see it directly beneath her, but I did see it only a couple of feet to the right of her. She really could have made it if she'd tried. LOL.

I guess, the one thing that's different is that she didn't have Castle backing her, not that I like the idea of his walking away being the straw, but I can see it all adding together.

Now you've got me curious. I can understand her not swinging to it, but if it was below her she could've dropped. Maybe break a bone or two, but the top floor isn't that far below the roof, usually.
