1. Does anyone know anything about Bill C-11? All I found was this article, which is an interesting read but I worry that I'm not getting all the arguments.

2. I'm catching up on Gossip Girl (goldy-dollar are you proud?) and I have to say I really enjoy Blair/Chuck and Blair/Dan... which just makes the shipper wars a bit more lulzy. And hey, I just realize

I read a bit about Bill C-11 but nothing beyond what is in that article you linked. Doesn't sound good. Canada-based one only, yes?

It is (it's short name is the Copyright Act of Canada). It is nasty sounding but that's from the little I've read.

I'm sorry darling, I've not had successes with his shows when watching live, I can't say that's true for all shows because I've only watched Firefly after the fact but the rest I've wandered away from).

Does sound quite terrible. Of course they're probably using the chance, while people are still caught up in ACTA, to pass others and not let any info out about them til it's too late to do anything. :/

No need to say sorry. Some shows are not for everyone. Tis still kinda sad to hear it about Whedon shows.. but you don't need to apologise for it.

From what I understand they wanted to pass an identical bill during the 40th parliament but couldn't because there was a loss of confidence (so, you know, election) but now that the tories are back with a majority ... well I'm scared.

Hmm I don't think that Bill C-11 is quite on the agenda yet. But I would check out michaelgeist.ca if you're interested in more.

I'm enjoying Blair/Dan more. I think I enjoy the fucked up-ness that is Blair/Chuck (this is me, remember, shipper of Jane/Lisbon, Nate/Sophie, and supporter of Cloen/Rose.) but then there's Blair and Dan and she seems nicer, and he's totally smitten. I'm on 4x18, by the way, so this whole he's smitten thing is offset by her "the kiss just confirmed that I love Chuck" and I'm having an "Aww, poor Dan" moment.

You know for guilty pleasures I think I'm taking this a bit too seriously.

I TAKE DAN/BLAIR VERY SERIOUSLY DUE TO ALL THE CUTENESS. :DDD Chuck is the worst though, Janet. PIMPED HER OUT TO HIS UNCLE. BEGAN THE SERIES BY TRYING TO RAPE BOTH JENNY AND SERENA. DOES SOMETHING ELSE THAT YOU HAVEN'T GOT TO YET. etc etc. Ofc fandom loves it though. :|

Chuck is so weird, it's like I know he's skeevy (for the reasons you give) and I hate him for those reasons, but I also find him fascinating and I find him with Blair kind of entertaining, but I do not want them getting married or what have you. If it makes you feel better a lot of comments I see now are "DAIR RULES!!!!" so, you know, that's got to be a good sign right?

Truth be told I also really like B/D because he's finally not boring. I feel like a bad fan for saying that but Dan kind of bored me in other romances.
