I can't wait to read your opinion on TVD.

It may take a while, I've opted to go with Leverage first.

Sherlock? I have no idea if you've seen it.

I've given the pilot a go, but it wasn't my cup of tea.

I've heard such great things about Leverage that I've been thinking of checking it out myself.

Leverage is cute, I just wish it didn't have such a jazzy soundtrack.

Why? You don't like jazz?

Jazz is hit or miss with me, but when it's miss it draws me out of the moment.

It's good to know you feel that way, too. My friend (who hasn't led me wrong yet) told me that she loves it, so I'm trying it even though I'm apprehensive (let's face it, most American shows tend to see weight as fodder for jokes).

I recently started DDD myself and, though it was only the pilot, rest assured that the main character's weight is totally not the fodder for jokes the way, say, Mike and Molly does it. It's more about her not having much of a sense of style and dressing in drab, old-fashioned clothing, that kind of thing. She's incredibly kick ass at her job and everyone at the law firm she works respects her (except for the signature bitchy character, but again, she comes off like she would likely be just as disdainful of a skinny but not traditionally attractive woman, you know?)

That relieves me. I hope it continues that way.

Leverage is great. I'm behind in catching up with this season, though...

Ever try these - Persons of Interest, Revenge, New Girl, or Once Upon a Time? They're all interesting in different ways. Maybe you might like one of those.

I recently started an account on Dreamwidth, but I'm not really planning on using it. I joined for other reasons...but I really don't see a whole lot of activity there.

I've seen bits of PoI and OUaT, I feel like I need to marathon OUaT- like it's the only way to keep me going. Revenge never looked appealing to me, but that's based on the ads. Do you like it? Silly question to ask as you're suggesting it, I just haven't heard much about it... I love New Girl, sometimes it's a bit cringe-worthy, but it's usually sweet and funny.

I'm actually surprised that I've been taken in by Revenge, TBH. I thought it would be one of those shows that I might lose interest in, but I'm still hooked. Generally, the storyline is like the plot of The Count of Monte Cristo, but from a female's POV. Eventually, however, the show will be about revenge for a lot of people, not just the main character. I'd say marathon that one - or at least try the first two episodes - and see how you like it.

And yeah, marathon OUaT. That way, you won't be left wondering too much about what will come next, *lol*. You described New Girl perfectly, IMO. That's exactly how I feel about the show. And PoI...I love it. :)
