There's a woman whom I've met twice over the years, but she's good friends with a lot of co-workers, anyway, today I found out her nephew was stabbed at Cote des Neiges plaza as he tried to stop a fight. So yeah, I'm reeling- but more from the shock I've seen in everyone else.

Stabbed to death, or did he survive? I just hate stories like that, either way...that good people trying to do a good thing end up being a victim themselves. It's just...sad. It makes me sad. =\
