Ugh, that's terrible. I always remember being angry about instances like that, people telling me what to do because it was what girls did, or what they were expected to do (or not to do). Girls had to wear skirts and not pants. Girls couldn't play baseball with boys. Etc. etc. Reading this just makes me annoyed all over again, because I know that this sort of shit still goes on.
