Yes, he's planning to move out here by the end of this year, despite all his grumbling about not wanting to live here. I'm not sure exactly how much he actually hates it or not.
Well yeah for both of you. I can tell you guys are going to be one of those couples that will be happy together. You just get a vibe sometimes (and my vibes have rarely been wrong) and you guys definitely have it. Your pictures together alone gave off that vibe. ;) I wish you both much happiness.
Unfortunately, my vibe tends to work the opposite way - I can usually tell if a couple just really isn't going to work out (of course I can't do it for my own relationships, sadly).
LOL! Yeah, none of my powers work for myself either. Not my "this is really good/bad" writing/editing skills. Not my "this guy is good/bad for you" relationship advice skills. Or my relationship vibes. Or my common-sense-life-advice skills. *sigh* It's the one draw back of being a super hero. ;)
LOL! I can't tell you how badly I want to move there now. Given my conference last fall and my trip this last March, I could see myself living there long term. ;)
Some places are. I don't think I could live in LA and be happy. I'm a small town girl who likes the size of the city I live in and it's not that big of a city. ;) Whereabouts in CA do you live again?
I live in Sacramento, which is a city without the big-city feel, I think. We've got, like, half the population density of LA, which in turn has half the density of San Francisco (surprisingly). And we have lots and lots and lots of trees, which I like because it does help to diminish the whole city feel.
I had a friend from Sacramento when I was in high school. She was a hoot. VERY pretty pictures on that wikipedia link. I might have to visit it and check it out someday!
