Janet was up early, and munched on an apple while laying in bed and reading. Coffee was brewing, but was not, as yet, done.

"'offee?" Elizabeth asked hopefully.

"Good morning," said Janet, turning to look over at Liz. "When it's finished. You can wait, right?"

"Morning," Elizabeth yawned, rubbing at her eyes. "I'll have to wait if it's not finished, right?"

[janet_fraiser]

"Unless you feel like trying to pull out the coffee pot and replace it with a mug without spilling any," said Janet. "Which I've tried before, believe me."

Janet shook her head. "No, not probably," she said, her eyes glancing across Liz's body. "Definitely."

"Okay then," Elizabeth said, first leaning up to gently kiss Janet. "Good morning."

[janet_fraiser]

"Morning," said Janet softly, returning the kiss.

"You're a nice wake-up," Elizabeth told her. "'Specially when you're naked."

Later, Janet was holding Liz and staring at the coffee pot. "Why does it have to be so far away?" she asked mournfully.

"Because my bed's on the other side of the room to it?" Elizabeth suggested, snuggling closer.

[janet_fraiser]

"Yes, and we really need to fix that," said Janet. "By moving the coffee pot, not the bed."

[notcalledlizzie]

"We could get Bridge to make it a moving coffee pot?" Elizabeth suggested.
