Janet and Daniel were walking through town, generally in the quieter areas, and were arm-in-arm. By the duck pond, actually. Not that anyone had plans involving that. Nope. No one.

Sam was out for a walk, clearing her head after walking back to the dorms with Cameron. She'd changed into jeans, sneakers and a shirt. "Hey, guys."

She spotted Parker behind the bush and, grabbing Sam's arm, yanked her thataway too. "Hey!"

Janet sometimes wondered how Daniel--who actually was pretty decent in a fight these days--could be so oblivious. Then again, she was being very deliberately distracting. And let's face it, this was Daniel. He was easily distracted by this sort of thing.
