this is tarantino's version of a HK flick. he's known for being inspired by them in the past and that's why he pushed out IRON MONKEY to the american masses years after the movie came out in HK. but with KILL BILL, he finally decided to do a rendition of one on his own. i can't wait to see this movie!
and a pretty fuckin cool rendition! definitely see it in the theater.
yes i know that tarantino is a big fan of old school martial arts flicks. before this (kill bill), there's been a good amount of references of those flicks in his scripts/scenes.

awwww shit! yeah it was so good we're gonna see it again this thursday. what a way to spend the evening/start of the weekend after a hectic week of midterms and c++ assignments galore. sigh. can't wait to see stuff i didn't catch the first time. =)
