All You Need is Love

It was a very nice long weekend! I'm sad there will be no Monday holidays until May :-(  My Valentine's Day weekend started out early by getting a beautiful bouquet of tulips delivered to work on Friday.  That night, we got In N Out for dinner, watched the movie A Serious Man and then the Olympic Opening Ceremony.  They weren't as good as Beijing, ( Read more... )

You are too funny about the Olympics! Sounds like Baby Z will be watching with you when he/she gets older. =)

Your flowers are beautiful! They remind me of spring!

I loooove your cupcakes! Makes me want one! Thanks for sharing that recipe on FB. =)

How's the scarf??

The pic of you is great too! Are you putting them in your journal?

We were watching the Olympics again last night and Baby Z was moving like crazy! It's so fun that John can feel it too now.

I was so happy when I saw the flowers were tulips because I LOVE them!

The scarf is going great! I may actually meet my goal of finishing it by the end of the Olympics.

I'm not sure if I'm going to put that picture in my journal or in the baby book. I'll definitely put the belly pics in my journal. I still need to find a baby book I like. They're all gender specific! I'm going to have John take one like that once a month because I like them more than just the belly. I was thinking of doing pregnancy pictures but now it's not in the budget...oh well, John will be my photographer :-)

I can't wait to feel Baby Padua. Rey keeps asking me if I feel anything but nothing so far. I've read it CAN happen as early as 16 weeks so I keep waiting and hoping. When did you first feel Baby Z?

That's good about the scarf. I'm hoping to just finish at least ONE baby project soon.

Rey found a very cute neutral book. I think he found it online. It has a yellow cover with a light turquoise binding. I'll ask him where he found it. I haven't even found a gender specific one that I like!!! I'm so glad Rey found this one. Babies R Us I swear had the WORST baby books!!!

I felt it around 15 weeks but only occassionally. It felt like little hunger pains. But I would go days without feeling anything and then feel it again. Everyone is different and first Moms have a harder time realizing what it is. John couldn't feel it until this weekend so 22 weeks. Now it's little nudges and not just flutterings. It's a totally different feeling!

I am so out of the loop. I didn't know John lost his job. It seems like everytime someone around here gets pregnant, one of them loses their job. Geeze. I'm glad that he has some promising possibilites on the horizon. It will all work out. It's been a crazy time for a lot of people. Hang in there and be optimistic.

I love the bump! Isn't it so cool when the baby starts moving like that? Awww. Enjoy it.

Yeah, it's crazy how life works out sometimes. But we both are really hopeful things will work out for the better. He wasn't that happy lately in his job anyway and had a feeling the company wouldn't be around much longer. His two interviews yesterday went really well so we're both hopeful he'll get a job soon!

It's the best feeling Baby Z move! And I love that John can feel it too now! Everytime I say Baby Z is moving, John puts his hand on my belly to feel it too :-)
