After a somewhat rocky year in 2011, I'm very glad to be starting a new year -- and hopefully a new chapter in my life -- in 2012. I'm a bit late with my New Year's resolutions, which is kind of ironic since laziness is one of my biggest character flaws. But I was trying to craft the perfect goals for myself! Those are some excellent resolutions! I'm not much for resolutions, myself---as soon as I make them, some part of me seems to rebel at accomplishing them---but I do have some areas of my life I'm trying to focus on this year. (See? I neatly sidestepped the word "goal," too...why is my subconscious so perverse?!) In addition to doing the eHarmony thing, of which you're already aware, I want to actually write my book this year. And there are a few health-related issues I should address this year, too.

You have great goals, and they are attainable, so go for it! :) It was great to see you at Christmas, thanks again for coming by. 2012 is a big year for us...we're kicking it off in our first home, and hope to add dog #1 in the spring and start trying for child #1 then, too. :) New job for Jared, less weight for me, and becoming more financially savvy, with a 401k, etc. woohoo for resolutions!

Thanks for having me at your lovely new house! Hope you and Jared enjoyed your cruise, and best of luck to you both with your own 2012 plans! :)
