I read this on FF.net and just came here from the link on Tumblr so I'll review here. I really really enjoyed it. All the movie references were amazing and you really captured Dan's feelings so poignantly. Of course, the end was a little abrupt and I'd love to see a follow-up on Blair's actions after this revelation.

Yeah, you're right, the ending was a bit quick. I don't know that I have a direct sequel in mind but I do have maybe a companion fic idea bouncing around in my head...Dair's just been quite a muse to me lately!

I've gotta watch Annie Hall now! Your grasp of literature and the movies is excellent. Your innerDan is wonderfully neurotic and Blair's voice was perfection. Great job

Thank you! I was surprised with my innerDan because when I started writing GG I expected Blair to be the character who spoke to me, but it turned out to be Dan instead! You're right, he is just wonderfully neurotic. I'm glad you liked Blair's dialogue, I was hoping it would turn out well. And yes, do watch Annie Hall! It's a fabulous movie, very New York-ish.

Loved this fic! It has such a sweet sadness to it, but so well-written.

Just a quick two notes of minor typos: "…You just with you were Kate Winslet." and possession of afuton.")

This was lovely >3

My favorite part was Dan imagining him and Blair as different people--whether real or imaginary. It was poignant, but the ending made me smile.

Plus points for a blond Snape, of course!

Thank you! I thought this was going to be an entirely Dan-centric-angst fic, but I found some Dan/Blair cute moments cropping up as I wrote it.

And of course a blonde Snape reference could not be avoided ;)
