Summary: "Amy Williams, it's time to stop waiting," he'd said.  The Doctor lies.  Amy will always wait, watching for him through her window.

Oh god, this was so sad. The Doctor lies. But so does Amy Pond this line just got to me. That possibility that is always there is so heartbreaking. This was lovely.

Thank you! The reason I wrote it is because since "The God Complex" all the shippers are saying "She's stopped waiting," or "It's over," or "Their time is up." But there was that one shot of Amy (right before the one of the Doctor alone in the Tardis) where she's at the windowsill, staring out at the sky. And I wondered how anyone could not see that she is still waiting after seeing that shot. And something about their relationship, and how even Steven Moffat says that though she loves Rory she'll always have leftover feelings for the Doctor (since he's been such an enormous figure in her life since she was a kid), makes me believe that she'll always be waiting. Is it wrong of me to hope that she will? *Sigh*

Oh gosh, this was gorgeous, but tragic. I am seriously close to tears. This was insanely beautiful. I like how you put it, that Amy Pond will never stop waiting, and he'll always come for her, but not Amy Williams. I am still mad about that, because to me she will always be Pond, not Williams. The Doctor and Amy have so much in common, they really are perfect for one another. I liked how you ended, that Amy lies too. You really managed to capture her, and her emotions and character. Always mad, impossible, brilliant Amelia. That describes the Doctor as well. I wish to death that something could allow them to come back together, and be together forever traveling the universe. At least I have my imagination and wonderful fics, like yours, to pretend. Wonderful job :D
