I Hear It All

Despite accomplishing a lot yesterday (both things I wanted and needed to do), I still can't shake this feeling of being off. When Scrapper called last night and asked what I was doing, my answer was, "Laundry, baking peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, warming up my chili for dinner, firing off two resumes, journaling, and listening to music.

Wonderful imagery. Making transitions is very hard, especially when it impacts every part of your life. Not quite a year ago, I left friends, family, a solid, tenured job and a growing side business to move 700 miles away from anything I knew. Alhough things aren't perfect, I can honestly say that this was the best chance I've ever taken.
