Tonight marks exactly 20 years since skordh and I started going out :-) Which means, scarily, that Skordh has been going out with me for longer than he hasn't, being still (just!) a teenager(!!!) when we first began dating. Happy anniversary! N and I are also waiting to mark the date when we will have known each other loner than we haven't, and it's getting scarily close.:)

I first met adaese approximately 40% of my life ago, and we started going out together about 37% of my life ago. However, we were both at the same event about 62% of my life ago, although neither of us spotted the other*.

ETA: * This actually happened three times: the Leicester AGM in 1984; the Cambridge AGM in 198-something**; and Oxonmoot in 1993. We finally met at the Taruithon banquet in 1994.

** But I do remember something she said on this occasion.

Thank you! Dinner now achieved, with only one brief interruption from a child, who considerately said he would try to settle himself back down by reading a book seeing as we were having dinner (very mature and civilised), and followed up by a game of LotR Triv, which having each nearly won several times, on finding ourselves both at the centre at the same time and failing to answer, we declared a draw, which seems suitably symbolic :-)

Congratulations! Do you still have the poster?

We were just wondering that. Skordh's copy was up in our previous house for ages and got very tatty, but I think mine *ought* to be in a poster tube somewhere. If we can find it and it is still in decent condition, I'd rather like to put it in a clip-frame or something and hang it up.
