We had lots of dillos living under the (platform) tents in my Girl Scout camps near H-town. We don't seem to have any up here.

Hi - I searched for LJ users interested in Hayes Carll, and you came up. I heard him play on a live radio show yesterday and I really want a copy of the song if I have to beg, buy, borrow or steal! If the song had a lot of talking, saying a bunch of phrases back to back, that's "Down the Road Tonight." Anything else, I'd have to hear a description before I guess.

You can hear bits of Hayes Carll's songs at his myspace page, or thru one of his albums at Amazon. Maybe something will sound familiar there.

If you ever get the chance, see him live. It's a great show and he's so funny!

The song was about a girl named Kate or Katie - and the refrain was "maybe you could be the one". I looked at his website, myspace, and amazon and can't find anything it could be. Any ideas?
