Jane, I'm pretty much doing the same thing. Retiring to LJ. I'm keeping my FB account because I like playing Scrabble there, but the newest changes just made the whole FB experience unmanageable for me. I'm so sorry that you and Scott are going through such a difficult time!

Oh, I'm keeping my Fb account too. I expect to try a few things to make it usable again (BetterFaceBook for a start), and then when I have time, making a friends' list that will include nearly all my friends and tell it to give me all updates. I'm also going active on G+. I've had an account there for some time, but have put off doing anything with it because I didn't have time to figure out how to make it work. I suspect it will resemble the current Fb (or actually, vice versa) a lot more than it would have 3 days ago.

Thanks - we're slogging away at things, and will get through it somehow.
