I think it's a shame that the rumours about Lady Gaga being a hermaphrodite are proving false. Considering that pop stars have been striving for androgyny since, well, since there were pop stars this would have made Gaga a real 21st Century pop icon. No race. No gender. Only sound. Intersex superstar

Hah, I overheard some workmates talking amongst themselves and one of them pointed out matter-of-factly (the way that work-people tend to talk around the water cooler) that she was a hermaphrodite...I thought that was pretty amusing.
To me she's the one that is inexplicably loved by my goth and synth-geek friends, whereas to me she just seems like 13 in a dozen...
