For some reason I was always rather disappointed that Cary Grant wasn't cast as the Bishop. I was not attracted to David Niven so wished that Cary Grant got to be the husband. To me the angel was too neutered, kind of like Metatron in "Dogma".

Oh gosh, I love The Philadelphia Story. Cary Grant is always talked about as the uber-suave leading man, and I totally agree, but I think one of his greatest talents was his comedic timing and sense of humor. He didn't do as many comedies later in his career, but that sly wit was always there.

And ugh, I hate to think about the things that I didn't do because of dumb social dramas. Adolescence, I tell you. Grown-ups tried to tell me back then that I had to enjoy high school because it would be the "best time of my life" and that made me SO depressed, because damn, if things were going to be downhill from there, I figured I was screwed. So glad to know that they were totally wrong.
