Hehe. I always enjoy learning about how people got their usernames.

But you never answered the second half. Would you change it?

Nah, I pretty much like what I have. It's still pretty new, though, so I imagine in another year or so I may feel differently. ;)

People's LJ names fascinate me, so I'm happy to understand how yours came about. I really like the mathematical facet. Nice!

Thanks! I am not the most mathematically inclined person, so I thought that the "squared" was extra clever. :D

Haha! Seriously, my friends in grad school have taken the nickname and run with it. Jam-jam, Jamzsies, the list goes on. Amusingly enough, my friends back home are really on the fence about the name, and currently refuse to use it. Kinda cracks me up.
