Do I involve myself with such meddling? Are they productive to my spirit? These questions are asked in such wonder, they are asked with a tint of longing, they have a color of blue and yellow, with there full fledged thrust into duality. I do not know whether to embrace or let go? Which of these actions are more helpful?? I would say a combination ( Read more... )

Kierkegaard taught me this lesson better than anyone else. Read through this quote. Here he is celebrating the idea of a non-attachment that operates not through resignation to all life (maya, unrealistic hopes, etc.) but rather one which--by virtue of the absurd--needs nothing and yet simultaneous keeps alive the deepest passions as if like a child. Kierkegaard, of course, was both a founding existentialist thinker and a christian. So I include another quote from first corinthians, and another from my hero Ammachi, about the love/truth experience of childhood ( ... )
