the first one looks REALLY COOL but i'm having a little difficulty telling what it is? (is that an arm or an ear? is that long thing a tongue? two tongues?)

Yeeeeah, the first one was scraped for the fact that it IS difficult to figure out what it is [Supposed to be a mammouth], so you are correct in choosing the second for clarity and design purposes 8DDD
