Wow, it's been a long time...First of all, BIG NEWS!!!!!

Joe PROPOSED on Sunday night, and I said "YES!!!!!"

We're pretty set on June 16th, 2007...

Wow, just wow...I'm so excited and so blessed and this could only be God's doing because...I've been wanting this for sooo long, and now it's finally happening...

Yes, he got me a ring (a diamond and the band is white gold and the diamond is a C in clarity which means that it has a little of a yellowish tint to it instead of like white or...ya there's other colors like pink and such too). Anyway it is beautiful and a little too big so he had to take it to the jeweler to get it sized. And when he proposed he got down on one knee and said "I love you" for the first time b/c we both agreed when we started dating that "I love you" is thrown around way too much and so we decided to wait until we were engaged to whomever we would someday marry to say those three special words...and we had no idea back then that it would be to each other:) Wow, I'm excited. But how are you?? How's your beagle??? Adorabel I'm sure. Say "hey!" to Heath and Ryan for me. Talk to you soon and I can't wait for you to meet Joseph either!! Love ya cuz,

Good luck Jamie!! I know I have told you that a thousand times, but I really want to see this work for you! I don't want to see you go through anything like what I did - you deserve better than that! Just be careful, and make sure that this is what you really want...and if it is - then go for it! Maybe within the next 2 years or so I can get enough money to come out to your wedding. thanks steph and it would be awesome if you could come for the wedding!!! we just booked our DJ and one of our youth group sponser st our church is going to be doing the cakes...it seems like there is so much to plan...any tips or good web sites you know to help me with planning and such??? anyway,how are you??? i miss chatting with you on yahoo-life is busy. hows the boyfriend- sounds like everything is going well,and im happy for you bc you deserve to be happy this time. Yeah, I am just here to say a quick hello, too. I gotta go hit the books. School. It is gonna kill me. Lol. Yeah, everything is good with the bf...I am happy thus far. So all seems well. We just got a new kitty. It was part of his Christmas. Such a cute kitty. I am gonna post pics of him when I get a chance.

As far as websites go there is one that I used that was helpful...it was www.weddingchannel.com, it will make you a checklist of all the things you need to do and provides a timeline. Good luck, there is A LOT to do!!

thank you; there are a lot of people that are looking at me being engaged so young as a negative thing, but i just know that there is no one else out there for me. ive prayed about it a lot too, and God has given me the same answer that i have come up with.
