Revival of the Computer
My main computer is finally working again. Or rather, whatever I plug into an USB port finally works again, most importantly my wireless internet antenna.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Not that working on Henri the Laptop was that bad, but you know.10'1 screen vs 18', full keyboard, all my files not being completely isolated... It's a relief.

I've been without internet for the last 2/3 months as well, because I moved a couple of times for my new job, and I thought I was going to go nuts! ^^;;
Now I'm all settled down and all, so I'll probably go back to writing soon (I'm actually looking forward to it! ;p ).
Anyway, I hope your computer won't die on you again! ^^ It's really great that it just helped itself with time.
It's often that way for me too. If something doesn't work, I just let it stew for a while, then I see if it still hates me XD (though, you're lucky that guy just helped you for free! As I'm new in the area, I don't even know where the closest computer shop is XD)

I discovered that shop when I worked for a bakery that moved right next door to it. XD When I had him change my power supply, he found a virus on my system that stopped my downloaded Windows updates from being installed. He removed it, re-downloaded and re-installed all the backlogged updates, and all for no extra charge whatsoever (he also completely cleaned the interior)!! Seriously, Best Buy's Geek Squad or all the other big shots suck compared to that guy.
