Once again my life is screwed over by ABU. I will not be in the Bachelor of Education program at ABU next year. Since I'm not a student, I cannot apply to any grant job like the one at my church or with CEF. Also that means no student loan next year to help cover expenses. So I'm going to have to get a full time job at somewhere I did not get a ( Read more... )

wow....that sucks....oh well! you're not the only person we know that spent large sums of money on education that will not be used for a long time. remember though that its not your fault or anyones fault for that matter.... It's just that damn education inflation. And it isn't permanent...it's just society screwing us all up the anus while we bow to the very large very greasy whip of the bourgeoisie. Once you've been flogged to the point of being beaten and bloodied by economic disfunction, life will look up.....I promise.

Well the person who owes you a lot of money is also owed money so you're not the only one who people are in debt too. I'm sure once the person in question has their financial situation in better order they will make reparations to your financial estate.

i hope things turn around for you! you seem to possess a lot of skills (i.e. from soundbooth), so finding a job shouldn't be that difficult. think outside the box! demand employment!!
my favourite way of getting out of school financing is looking over every single document i can to find loopholes. it's time consuming, but can be worth it if you manage to find a few scholarships or bursaries that will give you a couple grand for writing about toilet paper or something like that. schoolfinder.com is awesome.

ABU is "picky" on who they choose...why don't you apply at another university? You could probably even get your ed degree through distance education...You are definitely qualified to teach...don't give up on it. you could even get your ECE and be a TA

Yeah... unless you're related to someone somewhere along the line you have like a 45% less chance of getting in /

I agree with Shannon. Try other schools. I heard that some places have a one year BEd program, and since you have experience, I'm sure it won't be a problem. It's all about trying, and I know you can do it.:o)
