Yeah, I was surprised. And, I think, maybe impressed him. I went in there with a purpose and said my peace, talking to him like he was just another person and not someone in charge with the power to keep me from returning to the school. [I know most people don't have such fears in the first place, but I always did---maybe because my father is an ex-Marine Corps Drill Instructor?] But yeah, I think I showed him I was a substitute who meant business.
