I lost my "sister" back in 1984...she was 13.

Our Chihuahua, Paxie, was my sibling's dog really but since she and I "grew up" together, she was my "sister" of sorts. She died in my lap. I still have her dogtag. So pfft on my brother!! nyah nyah.

We had an actual funeral service for her at the Pet Cemetary. So sad. But really did provide closure for us.

May your Ariel rest in peace and until you see her again in Heaven...

Natalia, the six year-old, actually said, "She's an angel now." And she would be, she was a good dog.

And I've been seeing this coming for weeks. I'm just glad she went peacefully in her sleep and that we didn't have to put her down.

Well, we all knew it was gonna happen. I'll miss her. Really, I will. It won't be the same without her. I'm so used to having 2 little dogs walking around, and now there will only be one.
