Well, I'm glad they've resolved the issue making the monarchy archaic.

Unfortunately I have no real interest in writing, but I have story ideas pop into my head that I think a talented (or simply motivated) person could do something with.

I've been at an ebb in my "particiation" in the Skeptic community online so I completely missed the apparent kerfuffle going on about Richard Dawkins until Roger Ebert tweeted a link to this Gawker article.

 Lani's off to a girl's only thing this weekend. So I'll be all on my lonesome.

Now to think of something to do more interesting than watching golf on TV and not getting dressed.

 When the alarm went off this morning I had apparently been sleeping on my hands. And both arms were asleep up to my elbows. Turning off the alarm (which involves moving a small knob, not just pushing a button) proved to be quite an adventure in futility.

5 days since the last new post on my friends list (other than LJ telling of compensation for an outage I didn't notice).

I blame Google+ for the final straw. Which doesn't make sense since nobody uses it.

Long weekend with no specific plans means unfocused roadtrip.

When we left Friday afternoon all I knew was that I was going to point initially in the direction of the Grand Canyon and then see where we ended up. 1,600 miles (and 63 hours later) we're back home.

Lani learned about something called the SF Underground Market. Which is essentially an amateur and semi-pro version of food truck meetups, but without the trucks.
