Dinner party at Dr Russell's. 20 present. Sat on right of Mrs R and next to Dr Richards. As usual with medical parties it was slow so slept at 10.

For some reason, I read that as 'sat right on top of Mrs R'. I was all intrigued for a moment!

Yup - though it's not the first time he's complained about a 'slow' dinner party. I think he may be the same about them as he is with sermons - rather hard to please! ;-)
