My fan is scary!

It's late, I should be asleep now, but for some reason I'm awake. I tried turning on my fan, because the white noise it makes helps me sleep, but whenever I do, it makes this really REALLY eerie sound that sounds like a freak'n banshee in a blender. It's borderline demonic. I'm scared to be anywhere near it, perhaps I should call a preist...then
