And more Avengers prompt-related writing

One day I'll figure out how fandom works, and one day I'll even figure out how to post on memes. In the meantime, have clumsy unbeta'd .. stuff. As per usual, it follows my general standards of academic writing, i.e. the sentences are far too long and far too full of parentheses, and in addition the writing is unbeta'd and far too angsty for ( Read more... )

This fic is AMAZING and wonderful and all the good things. I love how you've characterized every last one of them -- so perfectly and intuitively and without using too many words to do it. This fic just *feels right*, you know? It seems like everything here is written with the movie(s) firmly in mind, and I've seen a lot of fics that seem to just take the basic facts and twist them so that the author can just tell a story he/she wants to even though it doesn't really feel right.

I have so many great moments in this, but I think Clint's nightmares about Coulson was my favorite part. And the ending, of course ;)

Just a tip though: that block-of-text paragraph that makes up almost the entire fic is *really* hard to read through without any paragraph breaks. It might be a formatting error? Anyway, that's the only problem I have with this story -- the actual content is all amazing. :)

Thank you :) I'm new to writing, so I never really know whether what my brain comes up with works for others. This feedback consequently made my day.

Yeah, the block of text is a formatting error, sorry about that :( It looked fine in the editing window and then turned out to be a block of text, and every subsequent attempt to edit it has yielded the same result. I'll keep trying, eventually I'll figure it out I hope.

Well, the paragraph breaks look fine now! Guess it was just LJ being moody.

Awwww- I love Bruce getting things/making things for each of them it's both adorable and domestic (and them doing things for him). Plus Hulk hugging Clint and telling him that puny God is gone is beyond precious.

Thank you :) I think Bruce's dynamic in the team is interesting in the movie, and after the 'Tony and Bruce drive off to do SCIENCE' and 'Hulk catches Iron Man' scenes I jumped at the excuse to try and work with that. I'm glad you liked it.
