[Having kept mostly to himself for the past few weeks, James has decided it's time for a new Element joke. As such, he's got himself a good sized sheet of tin, and then in careful, neat script written, "apple" across its surface with black paint. After the lettering is done, he'll lay it propped up against the fountain.]

[Mori's walking around the village, exercising a bit since he feels he put on a little weight while in the care of the Malnosso. He walks through the center of town and pauses when he sees the guy who helped him when he was ill. He changes course to come over to the... juice stand? He pauses and just stands there, looming.]

[............ James' ear twitches]

But.. then... [Stammer stutter fumble stare, HUUUUH?!]

[Mori finally takes pity on James and offers an explanation.] Maybe I just have not had any?

But how?

I mean, even if you don't drink it, it's a world-wide corporation, it's sold everywhere.

[needslovelyitem]

[Mori looked at him for another long moment.] We have someone to do our shopping.

[His simple thank you has suddenly turned into far more words than Mori wanted or expected.]

[james_morph]

[Well suck it up Mori, James wants to figure you out.]

..Sooo.. you're like.. rich or something? [This concept is kind of mind boggling to James, having always been poor and forced to live his life independently until he started work for Eugenics, the concept of others taking care of someone so.. completely.. is a little bewildering]

[Mori just stares at him. It would be rude to confirm that he's pretty rich, but it would be lying if he denied it.]

[Well that confirms it in James' head.]

Wow.. I'm.. Huh. [He's just gonna stare for a few minutes now, his fur turning a dark moss green]

[Mori watches the color change curiously. Eventually, that curiosity gets the better of him.] How do you do that?

[Much nicer than asking what James is. Though Mori's been wondering that for a while now. It's odd enough the animals can talk. He didn't expect to see them changing shape. Not that Mori really considered James and animal at this point.]

[James' still distracted by the whole, "I'm-too-rich-to-have-ever-heard-of-Snapple-in-my-life", thing, but at Mori's inquiry he sort of looks up in confusion] Huh? Do what?

[Well it's not like he wastes time watching television or commercials. He might have seen an ad somewhere, but it wasn't like he was paying enough attention to it to remember it so much later.]

[Mori lifts a hand and gestures at Jame's now green fur.]

Oh, that.. Err..

[He chews his lip a moment] I just do..

[That sounds like an evasive answer, like James doesn't want to really explain it. Or perhaps James didn't actually know. It was so interesting though.] Can you change at will?

[james_morph]

[This was making James a little nervous, however his fur has stopped its erratic shifting]

Yes.

[Mori grunts to show that he's heard James, but he doesn't have another question. He doesn't want to make James into a research project or anything like that. He's just curious and if the guy doesn't want to talk about it, Mori will leave him be. He'll stand there for a moment and see if James has anything he'd like to say or ask.]

[Oh god, the silence. James stands awkwardly, not sure what to do with his freaking tall dude in front of him]

Uhhh.. So do you have anyone from your world here with you? [He looks up at Mori timidly after he asks]
