Cir has recently read a book by a supposedly reknowned 'Pick Up Artist' Called Neil Strauss or something, and seems to want me to be his pet project. He wants me to shave my head, wear my contacts all the time and go to a tanning salon and get a tan. And then he wants me to go out and 'pick up' girls

You'd better ask yourself if you want someone who is interested in you or in some facade you've created.

I think there's a fine line between being false and "finishing" touches. Like, makeup, or working out a little, or wearing contacts (but only if YOU like that and feel it is you). If you don't feel something is YOU why the heck are you doing it? If it falls under something you don't feel is truly you then you're treading into false territory. If you're not you then how will you know that's what a person really likes or is interested in?

Some good points there, but at the end of the day, it's a new hairstyle. I'm not too sure about the tanning bit and I wear my contacts on and off.

But being a false me is why i'm not too interested in the 'picku-up artist training'. Someone should like me for me, albeit is the me I am a nice person that someone would like, which I'm trying to find out atm!

Call it a pre-mid-life crisis sort of thing :p

oh my god james, i would love to do you a make-over, i don't know why we don't, we used to go shopping together all the time, you would so so so so suit the trendy geek look, in fact, next time you come down, save £300, we'll go shopping and get you a new wardrobe, its a date!
