Chilly Monday

Today was a chilly Monday with temperatures around 60-65*F and a little rain fell. I started working this afternoon since we went for breakfast at Rick's and shopped at Super Wally-World this morning. We didn't do it on Saturday and Sunday because my sister had to work. That bolt up ring is the common way to do things now. They can be a pain to work. The idea is that you can mount any kind of bowl in that ring setup.

It works best if you have a second set of hands. Another trick is to set the bowl on the forward edge. Then use the friction to hold the bolts into the holes and then slide the bowl down.

I also have a problem with the wax bowl staying on. Just when I get ready to drop the toilet, it falls off despite pressing it into place.

I do notice that a lot of the wax goes into the slots of the bolt up ring, which seems to be a waste.
