Sakis should take part every year. Just because.

At least your commentators said some vaguely interesting things. All ours did was to whine about the German production team. I'm just curious, though, in what way are Anna and Chiara similar? Or was it merely to point out the difference? (I suddenly realise I feel very strongly about Anna.)

(promotion: buy two Lack tables and get four Swedes free!)

Hee!

He said it was the kind of ugly dress "the amazing" Chiara would wear.

Dress, that's kind, some might say - curtain or tent :) Had to laugh when she came up in your post! Also 100% with you on Croatia & Hungary! Enjoying reading back over your work now that we're catching up here in Australia :)

OK, I swear Lithuania got through on the strength of her boobs. I actually called Dean in from the other room, and he agreed that she's definitely the bustiest woman they've had on in a while.

Portugal - I am deeply impressed with your commitment to growing mustaches and period costume. Not so much by the song though.

The first ever Swahili language song didn't get through?! What is wrong with you guys??

Our commentators were entertaining, mostly snarking at the German hosts "amusing" commentary and occasionally at the dress sense of the acts. The backstage interviews were the best bit though.

If Portugal have a talent for anything I figure that yes, it's for growing moustaches!
In Eurovision 2011 anyway.

Methinks Portugal sent what they sent purely so they had no-hope-in-hell of winning. We all know they would not be able to afford to host it next year.

I thought Ireland had done the same until I heard the song. And then I thought "oooh, they're in trouble".

Ireland was definitely playing with fire!!!!
Perhaps they thought the influx of euros from tourists would help them out...
