So I'll admit, I'm a fan of shota in fiction, and this story deals with it in a VERY realistic way. It deals with the real issues of being a father and raising a kid in this situation, and the blurred line between love and lust that Spain seems to be experiencing.

Spain's thoughts and reactions were chilling and accurate, and I'm impressed to find someone that has a good understanding of the psychology behind it. Your depiction of Spain was neither shaming nor condoning, and I love that. The topic of pedophilia is something that most people are quick to dismiss as disgusting and vile, but they're people, just with more psychological troubles than most. At the end of the day, they're still human. I suppose that's what makes it more frightening, you know?

Ahhhhh I could go on forever about psychology, but just know that your writing style is gorgeous, your grasp of the human psyche is stunning, and this is most beautiful. <33333
